With Unity UGC, developers have the functionality to integrate comprehensive UGC workflows into games – from publishing to storing, managing, curating, and distributing content.

The UGC core enables you to implement essential user-generated content workflows with ease. It includes tools to empower your players and community to publish and distribute content in your game:

• You can integrate UGC into any Unity game by using the provided Unity SDK.
• It’s content agnostic, so creators can upload any type and size of content.
• Our Content Delivery Network (CDN) support enables efficient distribution to players all over the world.
• Use webhooks to extend the solution to fit your game’s needs by powering specific actions, such as notifying your community Discord when there’s new content to review or integrating with your analytics platform.

The UGC Bridge enables creators to publish content directly from the Unity Editor. Customize the plug-in to meet your creators’ needs and let your community’s imagination run wild, with features to make the extension seamless, including:

• Programmatically validate that content fits criteria before creators can upload it. For example, check if there are two flags in a capture the flag map
• Allow players to use the same authentication they use to log on to your game to create and upload content
• Easily add functionality and flows that fit your title by extending the Editor plug-in

The API-accessible moderation functionality streamlines the review process for uploaded content. A full moderation center enables your team to view, download, and take action on all user-generated content and set specific moderation rules. Distribute moderation permissions to staff or dedicated community members to speed up content review.

Built-in search criteria help you display the most relevant content to players with just a few lines of code while also helping new content be discovered and grow in popularity.

The included content viewer Prefab offers a comprehensive interface that you can adjust to fit your game’s needs.

The Creator Center is a white-label web portal that creators can use to manage their content, understand its performance, and edit metadata. Accessible from anywhere, the web portal also helps creators as they learn how to create content for your game. Features include:

• Regularly updated tools: Get updates and additional functionality as they are introduced
